Comments

  1. A part (resp. a subset) can not be in several time history groups. In this case, the only variables output in time history are the variables declared in the last option which refers to the part (resp. subset).
  2. Available names are listed in the two tables above.

In the first table, TH-variables are listed. If a TH-variable is requested, this variable is written.

In the second table, other variable groups are listed. If a variable group is requested, all the associated TH-variables are written at once.

  3. In 2D axisymmetrical computation, energies are given per radian.
  4. If requested part is a Thpart, refer to Time Histories (Part definitions).
  5. Output for subset or part (for /TH/SH3N or /TH/SHEL only):

HE: global hourglass energy with visco-energy added for numerical stabilization if QBAT and QEPH shell formulations (Ishell =12, 24) are used (refer to /PROP/TYPE1 (SHELL)).

  6. HE output is perturbation hourglass energy for shell elements, Ishell = 1 – 4, and Ish3n = 1, 2 and is defined in the element properties using hm, hf, and hr. For Ishell = 12, 24 and Ish3n = 30, 31, the output is numerical damping and is defined in the element properties using dm and dn. Note that numerical damping is not included in the global hourglass energy calculation. For solid elements Isolid = 1, 2, the output is perturbation hourglass energy and is defined using solid element property, h.
