Comments

  1. This option can be used to initialize the orthotropy direction for shells element per element. By default, property defined characteristics are used, those defined using this option are priority.
  2. The projection of the reference vector on the shell surface defines a reference direction for orthotropy axis.
  3. For each layer (integration point), the first orthotropy axis is defined at a given angle from the reference direction.
  4. This option is compatible only with the orthotropic shell property like /PROP/TYPE9 (SH_ORTH), /PROP/TYPE10 (SH_COMP), /PROP/TYPE11 (SH_SANDW) and /PROP/TYPE16 (SH_FABR).
  5. For Element of property /PROP/SH_ORTH (/PROP/TYPE9), only one orthotropy direction has to be defined.
