HM

Shortcut to the native HyperMesh panel to open an existing HyperMesh file.

MPI

Imports native Moldflow decks into the HyperMold user profile. You can import MPI 2.0 format (*.MFL and other file types) or MPI 4.0 format (*.UDM file type).

Tools

Midplane Wizard

Opens the Midplane Wizard tab, which contains a step-by-step procedure to set up a midplane injection molding input data. See Midplane Wizard submenu

Flow3D Wizard

Opens the Flow3D Wizard tab, which contains a step-by-step procedure to set up an injection molding input data (solid3D) for Moldflow. See Flow3D Wizard Submenu.

Solid Meshing Wizard

Opens the Solid Meshing Wizard, which facilitates meshing the solids either with solidmap, tetmesh or CFD mesh.

Extract Axis

Opens the Extract Axis interface, which extracts the axis of the given solid.

Surfaces

Cleanup

Shortcut to the Edge Edit panel. This shortcut provides quick access to the Edge Edit, Defeature, and Point Edit panels for geometry cleanup operations.

Midsurface

Shortcut to the Midsurface panel, which provides tools to extract a midsurface from selected surfaces.

Create

Shortcut to the Lines panel, which is used to create lines.

Edit

Shortcut to the Line Edit panel, which is used to edit lines.

Generate Mesh

Tria

Opens the 2D page of the Automesh panel, which is used to create tria3 elements on surfaces.

Beam

Opens the 1D page of the Line Mesh panel, which is used to create rod elements for the design of the feed system and cooling circuit.

Layered Tet Mesh

Extract Thickness

Opens the Extract Midsurface Thickness dialog, which is used to extract thickness from the midsurface onto the elements.

Design Circuit
