Distributed Mass

Apply distributed mass across select faces.

1. On the Project Tree, open the Analysis Workbench.
2. Click on the desired Analysis branch.
3. Next to Constraints, click the (Add) button.
4. Choose (Distributed mass) from the list of loads.
5. In the modeling window, select the desired faces.
6. Optional: Select the Add tangent faces check box.
7. Select either the Total Mass or Mass per area radio button.
8. Specify a value for Total Mass or Mass per area.
9. Click OK.
