Specify the Prime and Non-Prime Time Queue Prefix

Specify the prefix that indicates that a queue is a prime time or non-prime time queue.

Important: The Primetime Queue Prefix and Non-Primetime Queue Prefix parameters can only be updated if the cluster was added by a user with passwordless sudo permissions and therefore may not appear as a Scheduling parameter.

Jobs in a primetime queue can start only during primetime. Jobs in a non-primetime queue can start only during non-primetime.

You define a primetime queue by naming it using the primetime prefix. The default is “p_”. Similarly, you define a non-primetime queue by prefixing the name. The default is “np_”.
