Configure Fuzzy Backfilling

Trade-off between scheduling cycle speed and the fineness of the granularity with which estimated start times are calculated.

1. Click the Configure tab.
2. Choose the HPC to configure.

3. Click Scheduling from the PBS Professional menu located on the left-hand side of the web page.
4. Click located to the right of Fuzzy Backfill.
5. For Fuzzy Backfill, enter on of the following options:

   • off - no speedup

   • low

   • medium

   • high - maximum speedup

6. Click to save the change.
