Using Forging, you can set up your DEFORM simulation from meshing to exporting a keyword (.KEY) file. All major steps are available from the convenient DEFORM Utility Menu. With just a few mouse clicks, you can select materials and assign them to the workpieces, create mesh on the parts, create stress/strain curves, create symmetry planes, and set up kinematics of the tool motion. For advanced setup, you can view and edit control cards to describe in detail each step of the forging process. Once the forging process is set up, you can save keyword files for input to DEFORM for analysis.
