Creating a Solver Input Deck (.key file)

Once you have set up your simulation, you can export a DEFORM solver input deck, which is in the .key file format. This file can then be opened in DEFORM for analysis.

 

How Do I…

expand-green-10Create a keyword file
1.From the Setup group of the Utility menu, click Run. The Select the filename to export dialog appears.
2.Type a file name in the file name field or browse to the location of an existing keyword file you wish to overwrite.
3.Click Save. The DEFORM .key file is saved in the location you specified.
