Modifying Model Geometry

After importing a model file, you can modify the model’s geometry to prepare it for meshing. The Geom Cleanup macro on the Utility menu opens the Geom Cleanup panel, from which you can modify edges, find and delete duplicate surfaces, add fixed points to surfaces, etc. You must have clean model data in preparation for a forging analysis.

You can also use HyperMorph to perform design studies or make rapid/large changes to the model geometry.
