Slope Deviation

Captures the square deviation of the slope of the curve derived from two expressions at an instance of time, from a target value.

Target value is the value of slope from which the deviation needs to be calculated. See ‘Slope’ response for the definition of other inputs required. Use the Copy values from button to auto-fill inputs for this response from an existing ‘Slope’ type of response available in the model.

In the above example, the response variable computes the square of deviation of slope of curve with Roll position (Ride Camber) plotted on its Y axis and marker’s relative displacement in Z (Full Jounce) plotted on its X axis at a time value of 2.4, from a target value of 5.
