Remote Sessions Handoff to Desktop Viewer

Access Remote Sessions from native desktop viewer.

Start a Remote Session from Access Web and then switch the session to a native desktop viewer. Some of the benefits of switching the session to the native desktop viewer are better session performance, control over the image quality and compression level of the session.

For Windows clients, the native desktop viewer is Access Desktop, therefore Access Desktop must be installed on the user's local machine.

For Linux or Mac clients, the native desktop viewer is Microsoft's Remote Desktop. This is only supported when the graphic node is a Windows machine. Connecting to a Linux graphic node is not currently supported.

The Remote Sessions handoff will work in the following scenarios:
