Selecting Entities Using the Entity List Tree

From the Entity Attributes panel, you can select entities on a model listed in the entity list tree.

In addition to the entity list tree, you can also select entities on a model using one of the following methods:
  • Pick entities directly from the screen.
  • Draw a window around some or the entire model and then use your mouse to pick a group of entities inside or outside of the window. Points can be added or deleted to or from a window.

The mouse controls used to pick entities on the screen are dependent on the settings specified on the Mouse tab. For example, you can set MB1 (or the left-mouse button) to select an entity when pressed. Or, you could also set SHIFT-MB1 to add a point to a window when pressed.
