Grant a Role Access to an HPC Cluster

Grant users assigned to a role having Monitor PBS Viewer or Monitor PBS Admin privileges access to an HPC cluster.

When a role is given Monitor PBS Viewer or Monitor PBS Admin privileges, you have the option to grant the role access to HPC clusters. Any users assigned to that role will automatically be given Monitor access to those clusters.
  1. Click the Configure tab.
  2. Click Roles from the Access Management menu located on the left-hand side of the web page.
  3. Click the name of a role that has been given Monitor PBS Viewer or Monitor PBS Admin privileges.

  4. Click to grant the role access to HPC clusters.

  5. Select a cluster by enabling the checkbox next to its name.
    You may select more than one cluster.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click Save.
    Any users assigned to this role automatically get access to the selected clusters to monitor jobs and nodes and the following notification is displayed to those users: 
    Your view is updated to reflect the privilege changes in cluster: CLUSTER
    where CLUSTER is the name specified for the cluster.
