The MoM for Full-Wave Solutions
For general open-radiating problems for scatterers of arbitrary shape, a procedure similar to the solution of the charge on the straight wire is followed.
- Specify the relevant integral equation.
- Apply boundary conditions to manipulate the integral equations into a solvable form.
- Discretize the unknowns on the scatterer - in this section, we will work with currents.
- Test the integral equation to create the same number of equations as the number of unknowns.
- Solve the matrix equation to obtain current coefficients.
- Sum (integrate) the vector currents to obtain output such as far fields and impedance.
