Hand Build, Combine, Split, and Modify Elements

Stitch two unconnected meshes by adding elements between them, split elements at weld locations, and combine and split elements to fix connectivity in the transitional area between fine and coarse mesh areas.

From the Elements ribbon, click the arrow next to the Edit tool set name and select Combine from the drop-down menu.

The Edit Element panel opens.
