Define Surface Output
Use the Surface tool to define surfaces on which you would like to export results at specific intervals.
Select multiple surfaces for a single instance of a surface output. The same surface can appear in multiple surface outputs simultaneously.

Create surface outputs.

From the ultraFluidX
ribbon, Setup group,
click the Output
tool.

From the secondary tool set, select the Section

From the ultraFluidX
ribbon, Setup group,
click the Output
tool.
- In the microdialog, define the output frequency and start output at iteration.

In the microdialog, click
and specify the variables being solved for.
- Optional:
Import and export surface outputs.
- From the legend in the top-left of the modeling window, right-click the active surface output set and select Surface output table from the context menu.

In the dialog, select
to import surface outputs.

In the dialog, select
to export surface outputs.

Use the legend in the top-left of the modeling window
to change the color of surface outputs.
- From the legend, right-click the enabled surface output and select Change color from the context menu.

Use the color picker to edit the color of the selected surface
outputs.
Tip: Create custom colors within the color picker by clicking

From the guide bar, complete one of the following:

to confirm your selection and continue creating surface outputs.
- Select
to confirm your selection and exit the tool.
