Generic Task
A generic task is the most comprehensive form of a task.
As previously described, it requires a script, application, possible input and
produces output file(s). In more detail, it provides options to add the
following:
- Environment variables
- Dynamic properties (Script variables)
- Ports
Only generic tasks can have an associate script and therefore are used for customizing an application.
