Introduction of background knowledge regarding flow physics and CFD as well as detailed information about the use of AcuSolve and what specific options do.
Collection of AcuSolve simulation cases for which results are compared against analytical or experimental results to demonstrate the accuracy
of AcuSolve results.
The View menu provides access to viewing, transforming and rendering controls. The menu also gives you options to
adjust the views in AcuFieldView in many different ways.
Use the Streamlines panel to calculate and display streamlines, vortex lines and other paths that can be computed by integrating through a
vector field.
The Vortex Cores/Surface Flows panel combines several features available with other visualization panels in AcuFieldView: ACTION, LINE TYPE, SETUP and COLORING.
Use the 2D Plots panel to make two dimensional plots (graphs) of the current scalar function on a straight line in X, Y, Z space, or along
a curve on a particular surface for the current dataset.
Use the Point Probe panel to interrogate the quantities at an arbitrary location in the current dataset. By clicking
in the modeling window, or typing in a specific value, the scalar and vector quantities at that point can be displayed.
The Tools menu contains features that allow you to export surface and object information, unify the display characteristics
of all surfaces of a given type, create AcuFieldView structured boundary files based on the grid file read in, define custom colors with the Color Mixer, and use preset
graphics layout sizes for images and animations.
Due to the complexity involved in the formulas for some of the tutorials, formula restart files have been provided
to you and should be used when instructed during the tutorials.
The Visualization Panels menu offers the following panel options:

Note: You can also access these panels in the Side (Visualization)
toolbar.

Computational Surface Panel
Use the Computational Surface panel to visualize data on the computational mesh.
Iso-Surface Panel
Use the Iso-Surface panel to create arbitrary cutting planes.
Streamlines Panel
Use the Streamlines panel to calculate and display streamlines, vortex lines and other paths that can be computed by integrating through a vector field.
Particle Paths Panel
Use the Particle Paths panel to display particle track data read in from a file.
Coordinate Surface Panel
Use the Coordinate Surface panel to create surfaces of constant X, Y, or Z.
Boundary Surface Panel
Use the Boundary Surface panel to show the various boundary types, for example, wall, inlet, outlet and baffle, defined when the data was input.
Vortex Cores/Surface Flows Panel
The Vortex Cores/Surface Flows panel combines several features available with other visualization panels in AcuFieldView: ACTION, LINE TYPE, SETUP and COLORING.
2D Plots Panel
Use the 2D Plots panel to make two dimensional plots (graphs) of the current scalar function on a straight line in X, Y, Z space, or along a curve on a particular surface for the current dataset.
Annotation Panel
Use the Annotation panel to create and display annotation objects of two different types, text or arrows.
Point Probe Panel
Use the Point Probe panel to interrogate the quantities at an arbitrary location in the current dataset. By clicking in the modeling window, or typing in a specific value, the scalar and vector quantities at that point can be displayed.
