Edit Midmesh Topology
Use the Midmesh: Edit Topology tool to edit midmesh topology.

From the Mesh ribbon, click the Midmesh > Edit Topology tool.

To edit topology by Do this Delete edges - Set the Source selector to Elements, then select 1D elements.
- Click Delete.
Imprint lines onto elements - Set the Source selector to Lines, then select lines to imprint.
- (Optional) Using the Target selector, select target elements.
- In the microdialog, select one of the
following options:
- Cycle target selections (
)
- Imprint normal to target (
)
- Imprint tangential to target (
)
- Imprint shortest distance to target (
)
- Cycle target selections (
- Click Imprint.
Create new edge Split topology to create a new edge in the following ways: - Create a new edge between two nodes.
- Set the Source selector to Nodes.
- Select two nodes.
- Create a new edge between a node and an edge.
- Set the Source selector to Nodes.
- Select a node and an edge.
- In the microdialog, select
whether to use a shortest (
), source node to imprinted node (
), tangential (
), or mixed (
) path.
- Click Split.
