Save or Export a File

Save a scene, a bundle, selected objects, a selected model, or a Studio set. You can change the autosave settings and turn on Safe save.

By default, models created in Inspire Studio are saved in the native format with the file extension .istudio.

When you save a file, you save not only its geometry, but also materials and display information, which includes views mode, zoom level, snaps, and grids status.

Tip: For better results when opening/importing and saving/exporting IGES or STEP files, it is recommended to select IGES/IGES PS-beta or STEP/STEP PS-beta instead of All Supported Files.
