The following table provides details about HyperView support for Nastran.
  1. See Element Forces (Vector Plot) for more details.
  2. Grid Point Element Forces/Moments are read into HV as element results with Corner Data. Corner data values represent the individual nodal grid point forces/moments for the given element.
  3. See Element Forces (Tensor Plot) for more details.
  4. CSHEAR Forces are read into HV as element results with Corner Data. Corner data values represent the following:
    • Corner Forces: N1: Force 4 to 1
    • Corner Forces: N2: Force 1 to 2
    • Corner Forces: N3: Force 2 to 3
    • Corner Forces: N4: Force 3 to 4
    • Shear Forces: N1: Shear 41
    • Shear Forces: N2: Shear 12
    • Shear Forces: N3: Shear 23
    • Shear Forces: N4: Shear 34
    • Kick Forces: N1: Kick 1
    • Kick Forces: N2: Kick 2
    • Kick Forces: N3: Kick 3
    • Kick Forces: N4: Kick 4
  5. CBEAM Forces are read into HV as element results with Corner Data. Corner data values represent the individual nodal grid point forces for the given element.
  6. Result from OGPFB1 (Grid point force) block: Reader creates data type as “SPC Forces”. And this block will have results like SPC,MPC,Applied forces/moments.

Results from OQG1 (SPC force) block: Reader creates data type as “SPC Force”. And this block will have only SPC force/moment data’s.
