Export OptiStruct Solver File

Export the loadcases and variability studies.

Export the required loadcases and variability studies using the Export OptiStruct Solver File option.

  1. From Analyze group, select Export OptiStruct Solver File.

    Model Export table will appear.

  2. Enter the name for the file to be exported in File Name field.
  3. Select Preserve or Merge for Include File(s) drop down list.
  4. Click Export.
    A folder selection window will appear.
  5. Browse and select the required folder.
    This will export the OptiStruct solver deck to the selected folder. Click Close to close the model export option.
    Note: During the solver file export, SnRD also exports E-Lines CSV file containing the evaluation lines definition. This file will be later used in post processing of results.

Export Solver File Options

File Name
Solver file export name.
Include File(s)
Select exporting of include files-
Preserve- Preserves the data in individual include files along with their references in the master model.
Merge- The contents from the all include files are imported into the HyperMesh model but their references are not maintained. When exporting, all entities are written into the master file.
Pre Output CSV
CSV file containing the E-Lines definition.

Impulse rate values picked after material mapping.

Interface name
Name selected for the interface.
Name can be selected from the DTS file.
Gap dimension [mm]
Gap or distance between the components of an interface.
This value is picked based on the interface name, defined in the DTS file
Tolerance [mm]
Tolerance limits for the gap dimension.
This value is picked based on the interface name, defined in the DTS file
Master ID
Master component ID from the interface
Slave ID
Slave component ID from the interface
Contact Type
Contact type defined for the E-Line
