Export Variability Study

Exporting variability study.

Using the Export OptiStruct Solver File, export the solver file and the variation study TPL and XML file. The exported XML file will be used in HyperStudy to solve the Stochastics or the DoE study.

From Analyze group, select Export OptiStruct Solver File.

Note: Export Variability Study check box gets activated only when SnRD detects a variability study in the model.

Check the Export Variability Study box.
Enter a name in the Study Name field.
Select which transient load case to run in the study.
Define number of runs in the Number of Runs field.

Note: The Number of Runs value is automatically assigned by SnRD based on the number of studies and the number of variables. User need not edit this, but has the freedom to do so.
Select analysis type. Available options are-
- Stochastics
- DoE
Select required option in Combine All drop down list.
Click Export.
This will export the variability study TPL and XML files along with the OptiStruct solver file to the selected folder.
Note: Use the exported TPL file in Altair HyperStudy to generate run database and results required for DoE/Stochastics study.

Variability Study Export Options

Variability Study export options are described below-

Study Name: Define a study name for the exported files.
Loadcase: Select the loadcase.
Number of Runs: Numerical value to define the number of runs for the study.
Analysis Type: Stochastics; DoE
Combine All: Yes- Combines all the studies in the session into single file.; No- Individual files and folders are created for every study in the session.
