  The user interface provides you with a consistent look and feel when you are working in any of the HyperWorks applications.
  - Supported File Types
  - Media Browser
    The MediaView Media Browser is located on the tab area sidebar and allows you to view and edit media files.
  - Adjust the View
    Control the view and display of your media file in the modeling window.
  - Measures
    Use the Measures panel to create a vector across any portion of a static or movie image and display the value of the vector in pixels.
  - Playing Videos
    For AVI files, MediaView supports the following compression formats by default: MJPEG/MJPG, CVID (cinepak), uncompressed 24-bit color, and RLE 8-bit color.

  - External Video Decoder
    MediaView can open video files which were unreadable in previous versions by using external programs as format translators, which create an AVI file using the MJPEG codec.

From the Hardware tab, select Video Codecs from the list and click Properties.
