Control Admin User

During the installation of Control, you are asked to provide a user account that will be the Control Admin User. The Control Admin User is automatically given managerial privileges and has unrestricted access to all features of Control. The Control Admin User must grant all other users access privileges before they are allowed to access the various features of Control.

The default user account that Control uses as the Control Admin User is "pbsadmin". Create this user account or choose a different user account that meets the prerequisites.

Prerequisites for the Control Admin User

The user account chosen for the Control Admin User must meet the following requirements:

• Existing user account on the machine hosting the authentication server.
• Non-root account.
• Account is enabled.
