Split Faces

Split a PolyNURBS face by inserting edges between two points. You can do this to a chain of faces at a time.

1. On the ribbon, click the PolyNURBS tab.
2. In the Split group, click the Split Faces icon.
   
   
3. Type a Subdivision Snap.
4. Split a chain of faces:
   1. To add a division point, click an edge.
   2. To reposition the division point, drag it.
   3. Repeat the previous steps as many times as desired.
5. To split a new chain of faces, in the guide bar, click New Chain, and then repeat Step 4.
6. Right-click and mouse through the check mark to exit, or double-right-click.
