Measure the Surface Curvature

Measure the curvature of a surface.

1. On the ribbon, click the Analysis tab.
2. Click the Surface Curvature icon.
   
   
3. Click one or more surfaces.
4. Right-click to end selection.
5. Click and drag the point along the surface to measure the curvature at that point.
   Note: If you have selected more than one surface to measure, click and drag the point until it snaps to the other surface.
   The following information is displayed:

   • Surface U: The U coordinate of the selection point.
   • Surface V: The V coordinate of the selection point.
   • U Curvature: The surface curvature in the U direction at the selection point.
   • V Curvature: The surface curvature in the V direction at the selection point.
6. Right-click and mouse through the check mark to exit, or double-right-click.
