Rider plays an important role in two wheeler dynamics. To capture the effects of rider on a vehicle, it is important to have a good human body multi-body dynamics model.

Two types of riders have been implemented in the library, with an additional option to have no rider.

Rider - simple

The mass and inertia of the rider has been lumped at the COG. This rider model reduces graphic complexity in the model and it is faster in exporting a solver deck for MotionSolve.

Rider - detailed

A very detailed human body model has been created in MotionView. The rider is modeled with 15 rigid bodies connected by joints. The size, posture, and position of the human body can be changed using various DataSets in the “Rider-detailed” system of the model.
