Build a Two-Wheeler Model

The vehicle library is installed as a part of the normal HyperWorks installation.

  1. From MotionView, click Model > Set Wizard Paths.
    The Set wizard library dialog is displayed.
  2. Select the Two wheeler option from the Wizard library drop-down menu to browse and select the required file paths or use the default file paths. Click OK.
  3. Click Model > Assembly Wizard.
    The Two Wheeler – Model Type window opens.
  4. Select the type of model to build and then click Next.
    Option Description
    Full motorcycle with driver Builds with the help of one of the four front suspensions and one of the two rear suspensions, with Rider as an optional system.
    Full scooter with driver Builds a pass-through scooter with 10-inch wheels and total mass with rider of 185 kg. Choose from three front suspensions and one rear suspension.
  5. Select the required options from the Frame drop-down menu.
  6. Select the Instrumentation system.
  7. Select the required option from the Engine and Transmissions drop-down menu.
  8. Select the required option from the Front Suspension drop-down menu.
    1. For a front suspension, select the required options in the Strut Rod subsystems page as well.
  9. Select the required option from the Rear Suspension drop-down menu.
  10. Select the required option from the Rider drop-down menu.
  11. Select the required options from the Brakes drop-down menu and click Next.
  12. Select the required jounce and rebound bumpers from the respective drop-down menu and click Next.
    By default, the Altair Driver driver system will be attached to the assembled model.
  13. Click Finish to complete the assembly process and exit the Assembly Wizard.
