Rolling Radius Variation
For the calculation of effective rolling radius following assumptions are made:- The effective rolling radius is defined perpendicular to the effective road surface.
- The load dependency of the effective rolling radius is ignored.
- The effects of the road curvature are included.
Where
The rolling radius is used in calculation of the longitudinal and lateral slip.
Longitudinal Slip

is the angular speed of the tire.
The value of the longitudinal slip is limited in between -1 to +1.
