If the Notes
panel is not currently active, right-click on a note in the Results Browser and select Edit.
To attach a note to an entity:

From the Notes panel, select a note in the Notes list.

Under Attach to, select Entity.

Select an entity from the input collector menu.
- Node
- Element
- Component
- System

Select the entity.
- Click the input collector (Node, Element, Component, or System) and
select By ID.
- Pick an entity (node, element, component, or system) directly from the
model in the modeling window.

Click Apply.
The note is attached to the selected entity.
