Optimization

Setup an optimization and execution by defining the objective of decoupling rigid body modes, creating constraints for rigid body mode frequencies, and specifying design space for variables in terms of mount stiffness, locations, and inclinations.

Create constraints for rigid body mode frequencies and submit an optimization run.

From the Display tab, display and compare rigid body mode frequencies and kinetic energy, and the optimized Vs baseline. A comparison review of the design variables and optimized Vs baseline is displayed. You can save the configuration file with optimized design variables for further studies.
