Save, Open, and Apply Post-Processing States

Capture the current state of the post-processing session and save it. Recreate the state using a saved state file and apply it to other models.

Note: You must be in the Post ribbon to save, open, and apply states.
  1. To save post-processing states, click File > State > Save.
This captures the state of the entire database, including: source file | boundary groups | new geometries like slice planes, streamlines, iso surfaces | visualization settings | probe points, integrations, expressions, and so on.
  2. Once a state is saved, use it to recreate sessions with the same database by clicking File > State > Open
  3. Once a state is saved, right-click on a dataset in the Post Browser and select Apply State.

This recreates geometries like slice planes, streamlines, iso surfaces | visualization settings | probe points, expressions, and so on using a source state file and dataset.
