Matching Die

Create a matching die by offset.

1. On the ribbon, click the Die Design tab.
2. Click the Die icon.
   
   
3. Click the Matching Die icon.
   
   
4. Select the die you would like to offset.
   To reselect a die, in the guide bar, select Clear Selection , and then select a different die.
5. Select an offset method:
   • CT Offset (default): Select the Construction Tree Offset method to create a child object in construction history.
   • PS Offset: Select the Parasolid Offset method for a faster, one-click option, which creates a separate offset object.
6. Adjust the Offset multiplier.
7. Adjust the Radius multiplier to set a different offset multiplier for the fillet radius.
   Note: If you want the Radius multiplier to be the same as the Offset multiplier, keep the default value of 1. If the offset is outside the original die, enter a value greater than 1. If the offset is inside the original die, enter a value less than 1.
8. Right-click and mouse through the check mark to exit, or double-right-click.
