Find

Find entities in the model that contain the search string you enter.Find objects in the scene that contain the search string you enter. The search results are not filtered.

  1. Press F2 to open the Model Browser.Press Ctrl+1 to open the Browser.
  2. Click to open the Find toolbar.


  3. Optional: To control your search, click , and then click one or more of the following options:
    • Match Case
    • Whole Names Only
    • Use Wildcards
  4. In the text field, type a search string.
The first entity that contains the search string is highlighted in the Model BrowserThe first object that contains the search string is highlighted in the Browser.

Find Options

Option Description
Navigate to the next or previous entity that contains the search string.Navigate to the next or previous object that contains the search string.
Find every entity that contains the search string.Find every object that contains the search string.
Access additional options to control the search:
  • Match Case
  • Whole Names Only
  • Use Wildcards
