The Create Mesh macro helps you to:

Automatically create mesh for one of the standard joint types
Assign material data for tool and workpiece components
Assign boundary conditions
Assign process parameters

When you click Create Mesh, the following dialog opens, from which you choose one of the four available joint types. Click the icon for the joint type you want and click Close.

A dialog opens that contains the options for the joint mesh based on the type of joint you selected. Specify the model dimensions on this dialog and click OK. The mesh is created.

Another dialog opens, on which you can specify the process parameters. Click OK.

Finally, you must select materials for the tool and workpiece components in the model.  Then the model generation is complete and you can export the model and run the HX solver.
