Set Up the Thermal Radiation Settings

Use the Physics tool to turn on thermal radiation physics and define the thermal radiation settings used in the simulation.

1. From the Radiation ribbon, Thermal Radiation tools, click the Physics tool.

   The Radiation Settings dialog opens.
2. Activate the Thermal radiation option.
   If thermal radiation is off, radiation will be not be solved for in the simulation.
3. Select a radiation model.
   To consider effect of media between surfaces you can select P1 Model or Discrete Ordinate. These models must be selected if you are going to define any participating media.
4. Input any necessary values.
