hm_tabletomark
Append the entity IDs from the named table to the specified mark.
Syntax
hm_tabletomark table_name mark_id ?panel_sensitive?
Type
HyperMesh Tcl Query Command
Description
This command appends the entity IDs stored in table_name to mark mark_id. Valid mark_ids are 1 and 2.
The ?panel_sensitive? option can be used when multiple panel levels have been pushed, either using the shortcut function keys, or the hm_pushpanel command. This option determines whether to use the current panel or the previous panel for the operation. This option is relevant only when the mark has been created from a panel entity selector under the above conditions. Valid panel_sensitive options are:
0 - Use the previous panel (default).
1 - Use the current panel.
Tables are not stored within a HyperMesh database (.hm file). When the current model is deleted or a new model is loaded, all tables are cleared.
If a table contains an entity that is subsequently deleted, the entity is removed from the table. Renumbering does not modify the entity IDs stored in the table.
Example
elem_table
on element mark
1:hm_tabletomark elem_table 1
