Coil models and their availability in Flux projects

Introduction

The availability of coil models in a Flux project depends both on the module (i.e, Flux 2D, Flux Skew or Flux 3D) and on the application selected by the user.

The tables in the next two sections summarize the availability of Meshed Coil regions and Non-Meshed Coil magnetic sources in each module for the existing Flux applications (i.e., Magneto Static, Steady State AC Magnetic, Steady State AC Magnetic Coupled With Transient Thermal and Transient Magnetic).

Meshed coil regions

Meshed coil regions are available in all Flux modules. The availability of each subtype of meshed coil regions in the applications of each module is detailed in the next three tables.
