Import a .h5 file from a HyperWorks CFD application into Inspire Studio, where you can then edit and visualize AniMesh objects as static images or animations.

  1. Open the .h5 file.
  2. In the Model Browser, select the part.
  3. On the ribbon, click the Analysis tab.
  4. Click the Animesh icon.

Note: If you selected multiple parts, you will be asked if you want to unify their parameters. Selecting Yes would apply the parameters of the first selected part to the other parts in the selection.
  5. In the Control Panel, visualize data by selecting a Channel.
For example, importing a .h5 file with speed data will have a Channel S.
  6. In the Control Panel, adjust the Color Map Range:

    • Enter a value for the minimum or maximum.

    • Click on the Color Map, and then select from the color options.
    • Enter a Transparency value.
  7. Right-click and mouse through the check mark to exit, or double-right-click.
