Delete and Stepback (Smart Delete)

Delete objects with no construction history, take one step back in the construction history, or delete objects along with their entire construction history.

Choose from the following options:

Delete objects with no construction history Select the objects, and then press Delete.
  • Select the objects, and then press CMD+Delete.
Take one step back in the construction history ("Stepback" or "Smart Delete")
  • Select the objects, and then press Delete.
  • Right-click the selected objects, and then click Stepback.
  • Select the objects, and then press CMD+Delete.
  • Right-click the selected objects, and then click Stepback.
Delete objects along with their entire construction history
  • Select the objects, and then press Alt+D.
  • Right-click the selected objects, and then click Delete with History.
  • Select the objects, and then press Alt+D.
  • Right-click the selected objects, and then click Delete with History.
Depending on the type of object you deleted, other related objects may be deleted automatically.
