System Requirements

A list of supported operating systems and minimum requirements for hardware and memory.

Windows

Operating System: Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10; 64-bit only
Hardware: OpenGL graphics card with at least 256 MB of onboard memory; Integrated Intel graphics hardware is currently not supported
Memory: 8 GB of RAM (32 GB recommended); 15 GB or more of free hard disk space

Video Recording

Any graphics card can be used when recording animated GIFs. MP4 video recording is only supported for NVIDIA GPUs, beginning with the Kepler generation and with a minimum graphics driver version of 378.66.

The minimum Kepler GPU supported is K420. Other supported generations include:

Maxwell 1 Generation
Maxwell 2 Generation
Maxwell (GM206)
Pascal
Volta (latest)

The newer the generation, the better the support.
