Set Analysis Requirements

The next checkbox in the Plate Meshing Wizard is Set Analysis Requirements.

In the step, you will have to answer a series of questions to describe the model under consideration and you will be prompted to pick one of the available options for each question.

The Advanced Meshing Data dialog is invoked only when the answer to the question "Want to Control MESHING?" is yes.

If you have a meshed model, select Yes for the "Have existing MESH in your model" question.

Click Next to assign the component collectors that contain the solids representing the model to layers available. In the case of Plate Meshing Wizard, only one layer is supported. If your model has more that one material and insert, you should use the Coextrusion Wizard.

There are two actions in this page - Assign the component collectors to layer 1, and then assign the layer 1 to the assigned material.

Click Next to proceed to next page. Select the Inlet and Outlet Surfaces by clicking Pick respectively.

Click Next to proceed to next page. Select the BC parameter data. Click OK to save and close the Set Analysis Requirements tab.
