Significance

SupgOnOff

On

On/Off

SUPG  denotes Streamwise Upwinding Petrov Galerkin method. It is important to have this parameter on. You can control it using the variable UpwindFactorForSaturation.

CapillaryOnOff

Off

On/Off

Capillary forces arise due to the interaction of two different fluid resin and air. This variable enable the inclusion of capillary pressure in the model equation.

BouyancyOnOff

Off

On/Off

Bouyancy forces come into play due to gravity. This may be significant in some RTM fills. When on, this  enables the inclusion of gravity terms in the model equation.

HeatTransferOnOff

Off

On/Off

Includes heat transfer in the analysis. In a realistic problem, this should be on.

CureOnOff

Off

On/Off

Curing kinetics of the resin is included in the analysis if the variable is turned on.

Fluid_type

0

1/0

1 indicates that VARTM is on and compressibility of air comes into play.

0 turns off the compressibility.

ShockCapturingOnOff

Off

On/Off

Includes terms to capture a sharp front. This option has to be tested and improved. Please leave it off.

ClipSaturationOnOff

Off

On/Off

Enforces digital variation of S distribution thereby reducing smearing. However, this is an artificial approach.
