The Run Analysis panel allows you to submit a job for incremental analysis to the solver.

The summary button gives you a brief summary of the parameters that you have set up for analysis and the type of analysis (springback, forming, gravity or trimming) that you are running.

The animation button allows you to preview the set up of tool kinematics before the model is submitted for analysis.  Click animation to display the relative displacement of the components in the model based on the corresponding load curves.  It also checks and produces a warning message if an inconsistency is detected between the prescribed motion and constraints for a component.

The message button displays the message file from the solver on the screen.

How do I…

In the Incremental_RADIOSS user profile:

1.From the Setup menu, click Run Analysis.

The solver executables are automatically linked from the runradioss.bat file under the \hm\scripts\hyperform directory.

2.Click run.

In the Incremental_Dyna user profile:

1.From the Setup menu, click Run Analysis.
2.Click solver = and select the LS-DYNA executable.
3.Click run.

expand-green-10Create a dynain file for performing multi-stage operations
1.In the Run Analysis panel, click create dynain.
2.For applied comps:, click comps and select the blank component.
3.Click setup.
4.Click return.

At the end of the computation, LS-DYNA writes out a file called dynain.  This file contains the stress and strain information necessary to perform subsequent operations.  This file can be read directly by HyperForm and is essential for performing multi-stage setups.
