Determines if an input is a matrix with sparse storage.

Syntax

b = issparse(a)

Inputs

a: Typically, a matrix input.; Type: double | complex; Dimension: matrix

Outputs

b: The logical output, returning 1 for a sparse matrix.; Type: logical; Dimension: scalar
