Platform-Independent Export - External Document Support

Embedding external files (TXT, DOCX, XLSX, or general objects) is supported on Linux and other environments, independent of the existence of MS Office or any other office application. The checkbox for Enable Platform Independent Export has been removed since this is the default behavior. Formatting of external files is supported.

Model Summary Report - New Additions for Model Validation (HyperWorks)

Model summary report has been upgraded with additional options which represent new modules related to model information and validation. Modules for Property Summary, Ply Orientations, Material Summary, Mesh Quality Plots, Model Checker Summary, and Model Checker Plots have been added.

Model Summary Report - Modules Category Validate

With the addition of new modules, modules have been reshuffled into categories and a new category has been added. Modules for Property Summary, Ply Orientations, Material Summary, Mesh Quality Plots, Model Checker Summary, and Model Checker Plots have been added.

The following known issues will be addressed in a future release:

• When adding an external Word document, the option to select the page range is unavailable.

• Images and all captions are now center aligned or follow the theme-based alignment.
• Generic placeholder supports text item.
• External Excel file formatting is maintained in the final report.
• Search bar in HyperWorks displays Report options even before launching the report. It is limited to the currently loaded report type. For example, the document or presentation.
• No image is created when exclude sets is used in the Loop results module.
• Sets in the model are not shown when using the Loop Results module.
