Adding External Functions

Monarch Classic allows you to easily add an external function from a different model.

Steps:

1. Select Functions from the Table Design ribbon.

2. Select Manage External Functions. The External Functions Library dialog displays.

3. Click the Add External Button button to display the Add External Model dialog.

4. Specify a name for the external model in the Name field.

5. Click the folder icon and use the dialog that displays to select the desired model.

6. Specify the desired link type: Strong or None.

7. Click the OK button to save the settings and close the dialog. Note that the External Functions dialog now lists the model and its functions.

8. Click OK to save the settings and close the dialog.
