Step 1: Generate Model Files using the HX-Forge GUI

Create a finite element model using the HX-Forge interface. This model consists of finite element mesh, material data, boundary conditions, and process parameters. This data is exported as two ASCII files (*.grf and *.frg files) by the interface.

 

Step 2: Perform FE Analysis Using the HX-Forge Solver

Start the solution using the HX-Forge solver with the data files created by the interface. Launching the solver in batch or interactive mode can be done in a few different ways.

 

Step 3: Post-processing

Post-process the solution in HyperView.
