The following table lists the items that may appear in the Details tab along with descriptions for each. The items that appear in the tree depend on the active process type. Complete details about LS-DYNA settings can be found in the LS-DYNA user manuals.

Control:

Description

Memory

Termination time

The termination time for the job.

Timestep

CyclesPerTravel counts the number of explicit time steps taken per unit of tool motion; DT2MS is a user-defined time step size for a mass-scaled solution.

d3plot

Count: Number of d3plot files to be written.

Period: Interval between each d3plot file.

Distance to BDC: Distance from the bottom dead center of the moving tool when d3plot files are written out.

ASCII Output

Whether to generate the LS-DYNA ASCII output files.

Adaptivity

Whether to use adaptivity

Summary:

Description

Motion Summary

Displays a graph of time versus velocity of the parts.

Force Summary

Displays a graph of the time versus force of the parts.

Blank1:

Description

Component

The HyperForm component that corresponds to the blank.

Type

Material Type

Whether the material is from the materials database or a rigid.

Material: Name

Displays name of the material that was selected from the materials database. (Database type only)

Material: Thickness

The thickness value of the material. (Database type only)

System:

Global or local system.

Material: Constraints: Translation

Fixed, free, or along an axis.

Material: Constraints: Rotation

Fixed, free, or along an axis.

Loads

Contacts

Position: Clearance

The distance between the die and blank at the initial configuration for single action draw, double action draw and double action draw with support. Ignore the blank clearance for triple action draw.

Adaptivity

Whether to use adaptivity.

Write State File

Whether LS-DYNA should create the state file.
